The sport is designed for highway hence the stiffness. The Or has more give . Mine never goes off-road and drive 120 miles per day on the highway. I didn’t want the off-road tire humming noise doing 90mph to work but needed 4wheeldrive for winter.

Wheel base and weight are huge factors.

Wow, got lots good replies, thanks guys! So, have the components changed, ie. UCA,LCA? Geometry? I know the front sway bar from OR vs. Sport is larger to control roll at speed which is detrimental to off road flexibility.

Just wondering what components to install on my '08 OR frame replacement job. So far I'm putting on 17" alloys. I mostly use this truck in snow, highway and getting out of the mud, so E locker is good.
Not seeing much bolder climbing going forward.

and ground clearance is the same on all, I think it is 9.4" and I have the SR5 and it has about a 1" rake..

The consensus here is correct based on my experience.

I have a Limited. Drove an OR and a Sport before I bought.
I felt the Sport was too harsh/stiff and the OR was softer. The OR felt good but I did not care for the cornering do to it being on the soft side and having a lot of sidewall. Since I do not go wheeling that end up in my cons column. The Limited fit my needs well. It is quiet, rides far smoother than my 1st gen ever did, yet it still has a bed for me to haul all sorts of things and can pull a loaded trailer.

The Limited likely feels a but stiffer than the SR and SR5 primarily due to tire and wheel size. I did not realize that they shared the same suspension. I have also not driven either an SR or SR5.

We all have slightly different perspectives, it is very hard to answer a question of why is X better than Y without context. OR suspension IS better than Limited for wheeling. Limited can definitely run roads and corner better.

Context and perception really mater. **Edit: I think they matter
