I guess I should feel lucky that my blower isnt making any noise ... and I am going to RTFM tonight .. but Im wondering why I still get air blowing from the vents when "everything" is off.

    Tks !!

Every car does. It's not a completely sealed system.

yeah turn on recirculation, that should stop the air when the blower motor is off. I think that's right unless my brain cells aren't working

Most vehicles are like that for the future when your ac breaks you can still turn it to heat and itll passivly blow the geat in for you. And defrost your windsheild. Kinda like a backup system

Both tacomas I've had has this. My moms old civic had it. It's normal. When yo drive fast-ish, and turn off recirculation, it should allow some air to pass. If you really don't like fresh air, just recirculate it and it'll stop.

Turn on "Recirc." It will stop the flow of air.

    Interesting.

Every single car I've ever driven has air blowing through the vents, when the system is off - only while moving.

My first car didn't have ac. For fresh air w/out opening the windows, there was a vent down in the footwell that you opened manually.

    Yes I am old.
