Did I read that right? Wasn’t buying and ended up with epic trip? Meaning zero fucks given to the road closed sign?

At first, I thought Turd gen but upon closer examination...GMC.

Maybe he took a side road, accidentally went around the sign on the other side of whatever’s closed and then ran into this sign when he was coming out.

Or he went around the closed road sign, found out why it’s closed, turned around and then took this picture for the gram.

I’m guessing it was for the gram and his comments were to make him seem more badass than he actually is...however, I’ve seen people give zero fucks and just do whatever they want and drive around gates, signs and cut locks.

Only reason it should be locked is if it’s down for road maintenance, but that’s my opinion.

Well, it’s trail management and necessary to preserve those roads.

That’s fine, lock them in the spring so they can dry out, but leave them unlocked the rest of the year unless the roads washed out and impossible to get through on, they’re doing road construction.

Of course he did. Simple mistake.

No ego. No selfishness. No pride.

    Just a simple mistake.

You may want to sit up and take notice. As more shitbags move into your borders the same thing will happen that is occurring here...

...widespread campsite and trail closures. Convenient lack of funding to clean up open ones. Complete vilification of off-roaders of every type. And it won't even be your fault.

That forest road looks perfectly fresh graded road. Most likely a grader was on that trail. Got to be able to let the Priuses, volts and ridgelines have easy access to the trees.

Maybe the FS was putting in a culvert around the corner and had the road completely ripped up making impossible to pass and felt the need to close the road because they didn’t want people driving like asshats straight into their crew.

    Guess I’m not out.

Nothing wrong with that, their tax dollars and park fees pay for that just like yours do.
