    2004 Tacoma
No DRLs (don't know why, thought all 04s had them)

Previous owner had a Viper remote start door unlock/lock installed. But only the parking lights blink or come on when using either the remote start or door lock/unlock feature.

Previous owner also had HIDs in it. But when I carefully removed all the ballasts and wiring, nothing went through the firewall into the cab.

    1. The clicking noise is coming from behind the dash in the airbag area.
    2. When I rotate the switch on the stalk from the OFF position to parking lights only: No noise.
    3. When I rotate the switch on the stalk from the parking lights position to ON: click.
    4. When I rotate the switch on the stalk from the ON position back to parking lights, it's a lot louder than #3 scenario above.
    5. When I rotate the switch from the parking lights position to OFF, no noise.

I haven't had the time to take the glove box out and investigate what type of relay or module might be back there.

My 1998 doesn't make this noise at all.

    Any help is appreciated.

Maybe a relay hidden behind there somewhere?
