I can tell you from experience that it is nerve wrecking as fuck to be recorded on a call. I could imagine cops getting edgy when recorded. Maybe you are "protecting yourself" but it's also ammo for some shit bag lawyer to fuck over a cop or fireman that didn't do everything perfect cuz they had some asshole with a camera up their ass. I could go into more detail but...you are to dumb to understand our jobs. If a cop treats someone like shit, in this day and age, he will get caught. Stop being a paranoid douche.

Yes but many people do not understand how the law is to be enforced. The "spirit of the law" is different than the "letter of the law" its a difficult concept for many to grasp. One time awhile back I was working security and an 8 year old kid took a branch off of a bush and used it to write his name on the wall of the building with the green juice inside the branch. Property management wanted to press charges and have me arrest/cite him for vandalism. He was not old enough clearly know that that the chlorophyll on the plant actually damages the paint. He was not tagging to do damage, he was a young kid wasting time waiting for his mom. It would be wrong if I actually cuffed this kid and waited for PD and his parents. Now I had to go against the company i worked for to explain that no crime had been committed because his intent was not criminal. His parents were called and he was going to be released, until the dad started making a scene and tried assaulting me and my partners, then it became a different story, But that's besides the point.

Point is that laws are not what people think they are. If criminal studied law and understood the elements of a crime and the spirit vs letter of the law, they could get away with so much lol. Police, security, bouncers, and everyone else who upholds the law are not bad people. We are doing what's best for society and the safety of everyone.

And the mods have said they wouldnt for this thread. If your going to talk shit about an organization or this forum then you better be able to back it up with facts and proof and not your bullshit little comments. Until you do go fuck yourself and I hope you get pulled over in the near future.

Personly, I have been stopped for many different reasons. one of the most memorable I was driving (kinda lost) in an entirely different state than I was from, I got pulled over for speeding, I was able to prove that I was not speeding, then I was asked if they could search my car, they went through it, and in the end, my car was trashed, my bags were completely unloaded and I was frustrated as all hell. In retrospect, I cant blame them (I was a young long haired kid in a brightly colors vw bug.) It was small town, I was driving aimlessly around the place and they were doing there best to keep that place threat free. frusty for me, yes. security for them, yes. I have/had nothing to hide, they are doing what they can to protect their livelihood. Every time I have been pulled over, as much as I wanted to get out of it, I was in the wrong.

No matter what, I would absolutely hate to see this world with no kind of regulation.

Why won't you repeat it ? We want to hear why you have such a dislike for cops. It's not that hard to write a couple paragraphs.

I completley understand what you are saying, and I know that the job is dangerous as hell and stressful, but a citizen recording a confrontation with an officer is a great way to keep the officer from treating you like shit and doing the job wrong. In this day in age everyone and everything is out to screw you so you have to be a paranoid douche because the only person looking out for you is your self, so you have to do everything you can just to keep from getting screwed.

I understand why a citizen would record their encounter with a LEO, however the vast majority of people would be pissed if someone shoved a camera in their face while they're trying to do their job no matter what their occupation is.

x10,000!!!! Recording us only makes things difficult for everyone. I can tell you that the very second that camera turns on, your changes of getting off easy are GONE! Now everything is by the book. Now not only are you getting the speeding ticket, dui, etc, but your getting cited for your tint being too dark, the TW sticker too high on your window, your truck too high without mudflaps, your headlights being modified from stock for your hids or retro, your third brake light is out, your tires are too bald for safely operating, and anything I can find. They say of you can't find PC (probable cause) to pull someone over, you shouldn't be a cop.. trust me.. we CAN and WILL find something to cite you for. And not because we are dicks, its because you thought your mr cool guy who isn't afraid of us and thinks that its OK to make us nervous as shit by filming us. Or people who think their "freedom of speech" means you can cuss me out and talk shit all you want right to my face. This all goes back to respect. You give us respect and we will gladly return the favor.
