    Off road does not always mean 4x4 territory. We needed the higher ground clearance for dirt roads and sand in back beach areas that our cars will not go. The locking rear diff helps if you need it but driving smart works much better. And with gas prices at $3.50+, it helps not to carry around the extra weight.

    $3.50+ a gallon? Where is this nonsense taking place? Paid $2.38 just this morning for regular.

    $3.49 a gal up here! And I dont think you can buy a pre-runner unless you order it special! All I've ever seen is 4x4.

    I guess it all comes down to if you like a non functioning scoop on your hood and if you want a 4X4 or 2WD truck...:rolleyes:

    King Racing reservoir shocks, Camburg UCA's, Deaver 10 leaf pack, Bilstein 5100's, Magnaflow exhaust.
    I've got the 4x4 Sport, don't really care for the hood scoop, I got the sport for interior and exterior reasons.
    Question, has anyone altered their hood scoop to make it do anything?

    Drill holes to at least get some cooler air? I think it is stupid that it is non functional..................

    Not really! We have an oil refinery 12 miles down the road, with the alaska pipeline supplying it!
