I'm going to catch a lot of flack for this but as the title says why lift and put bigger tires on it?

I'm not knocking it and I love the looks of it, but if you are not needing the extra clearance for intended purposes why do it?

Let's be real, for what it is, the truck is pretty gutless, more so if you have the automatic and manageable if you have the manual.

Again don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this truck and I have it with the MT, but even with the MT, I still can't picture myself driving this thing with bigger tires and a lift, it fucking looks cool, but daily driving would piss me off.

Again this thread was not created to piss anyone off or to stir the pot, just looking for positive responses.

You say "why" but list the two main reasons: ground clearance, and looks. :bananadead:

I don't agree that it's "gutless," but maybe that's relative to what you previously drove. I came from an XJ...that's gutless. But, I agree with your point. Tacos look 2siq2rad lifted, but for my purposes, not required.

Because Bro and because it looks bitchen!

Otherwise, if you truly off-road... it's a beast off-road. I feel my truck actually handles better off-road than on really.

If you plan on carrying constant loads of 300-600+lbs the dakar leaf pack is substantially beefier than the stock leaf pack and you can adjust them accordingly.

I'm going to catch a lot of flack for this but why make another thread about this.

I'm not knocking it and I love reading these threads and all the BS of it, but if the thread has been created before why make another one.

Let's be real, for what it is, this thread sucks and it sucked the first time someone made it.

Again don't get me wrong, I absolutely love reading these threads and all the stuff people have to say in threads like these. I've seen a few other threads like this and I couldn't imagine if someone makes another one of these.

Again this post was not created to piss anyone off or to stir the pot, just looking for positive responses.
