    yes but most of the people willing to spend the coin want the DC.

    ACLB and DCSB are just as off road capable, just not the DCLB

    Love my ACLB OR,in my opinion the best looking Taco if they made the ACLB in a Pro I would upgrade in a heartbeat!

    “Semi-Pro”/“PrOff-Road”
    Break over angle and turn radius is better on the short bed. (Shorter Wheelbase) That being said, I would have gotten one anyway if they were offered but no luck there so I’ve built my to a semi pro configuration ... all I’m missing is the hood with the Skewp!!

    Sounds more like the demand from divorced guys with no friends has died down. Thats shitty for the hermits.
    I should add that I think the older regular cabs are great!

    Toyota (along with the rest of the auto manufacturers) have to pass stringent fleet MPG requirements.

    Personally don’t do any hardcore wheeling. Mostly trails, snow, river beds. I love my DCLB Off Road. I have a topper, At 6’2” I can sleep in the bed comfortably. I never even seriously considered a DCSB-defeated the purpose of a truck and would have just bought a 4 Runner.

    A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
    Just in case you did not know -- the Access cab trucks are exactly the same length/wheelbase as the DCSB's.
    I think the reason is more marketability and the simplicity of having the Pro trim level only available on one body style.
    Toyota does not care what a few people want -- they only care what a lot of people want. In other words - THEIR PROFIT!

    A few.
    They brought back the Tundra TRD Pro in the dbl cab model for 2020. They could make a limited number of access cab pro tacomas. Its not like it would take any new parts. I wouldnt be suprised to see it happen for the last production year of the 3rd gen tacoma.
