    Hey all,
I’m Zac and this is my 2017 SR the day I bought it, in April 2018.C9A63000-7DE9-4ED1-9EA1-0752BFAD249F.jpg9F434BD3-A135-4380-A6F8-EA7C49F125AD.jpg

I’m a pinstriper/ custom painter by trade so this will be much different than most builds on this site. I’m only just beginning as well, there is so much more I have planned.

First thing I did, was pinstripe it of course. Added a decal of my logo, built the design around that and filled the TACOMA letters with matching colors.FDF82D23-3EF3-4340-867F-45917F04D3C7.jpg

I’ve since added my phone number and will eventually get my Instagram handle on there as well. This is mainly an advertisement for my business.

Since then I’ve purchased a Bay Area Metal Fab Recessed grille insert, which I had to make match. My idea was to splatter paint the backing plate with the colors of the pinstriping to make the “TOYOTA” lettering pop a bit more. This consisted of literally just slinging a loaded paint brush different ways trying to get an even and interesting distribution.0B4834D3-93D6-4358-A359-1CC09232E0D5.jpg CDA95F01-896B-41B2-A811-64C7262DD96F.jpg F977E323-4A91-4245-AD7E-77DD410441C9.jpg0DF0D27C-05A6-4E4F-A2DE-38657DB93EA9.jpg 36E1DEF3-97F8-4373-9C32-DC03CD154950.jpg

Wheels and tires were next. Went with 17” Method 315s in machined aluminum w/ clearcoat, wrapped in 265/70/17 Ko2’s for the time being. D4058AD0-4842-48F8-9D68-B644D2436B34.jpg

Tint: the truck came with no tint whatsoever so I had 15% installed all the way around (except front windshield of course)

Removed: air dam, sticker pinstripes, window accent vinyl.

    Next mod:
King shocks/ Kibbetch UCA’s/ Icon leafs.
