I usually don't join forums, usually lurk. But this place has gotten my interest.

First pickup, first new Toyota. Im an import guy, owned many manual trans Hondas and a WRX over the years. I wouldnt be caught driving an automatic taco!

Been in the seat only over a week now just past break in period of 500miles. I've already ordered mud flaps, HID headlights, LED fogs.

Next on the list is to remove the useless aluminum running boards in favor of sliders. After, will be looking into performance to reshape the awful tune from the factory. Possibly catback and cross pipe with cat deletes.

It's just a pickup truck they say... Nah... Can't help but mod. Cheers!

The wallet and the wife may sometimes protest, especially when the latter eyes the former. Each region has a swapping forum and buy/exchange/swap mods and parts for what you are doing now or in the near future. You can always go from occasional trails to OR, but taking the stock rig to level 3 lift overnight may well keep you out of the garage and possibly the bedroom. (So get the bed mattress first.)

I speak from experience. Third truck, third forum, third round of mods. At some point, they--wife, kids, neighbors--stop asking "working on your truck today?" Instead, when they see you not under your hood, they say "what, not working on your truck today?"

    Welcome!

Well the long time GF (basically wife) has no say on what vehicles I've ever purchased! I can't help but mod, but I'm not one to max credit lines... Yet.
