    "old" people aren't out driving around with their heads up their asses talking or texting on the fucking phone so they are hardly the most annoying or dangerous people out on the roads. Based upon the chart that was posted above about driver safety, only people ages 25-69 can talk shit about age being a factor in driver safety. Less than 25 or over 70 can STFU about it, lol. :p

    I have noticed that older people drive rather slowly and do tend to get in the way, but Teens and younger drivers do far more stupid crap while behind the wheel.

    My dad got his Avalon T boned by a 80 year old doctor. It totally fucked it up. Snapped both the wheels off, smashed in both doors, cracked the chassis, etc.

    There should be annual tests for elderly drivers. I am sorry but driving a car is not a right. If they want to keep driving they need to prove they do not represent any danger to the public. It's common sense really.

    Its not always the age of the person, it can be the mileage. Some younger people are high mileage before their time. If people were more road friendly if would make a lot of difference. But what do I know, I'm 54.

    Yes and same thing for people 16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24 & 25 yrs old. Prove you can handle it. See crash stat chart above. You are no safer a driver until you are over 25 than you are starting at 70. It would be just as good for both groups, that way everyone from 26-69 can enjoy a much safer driving experience. I am sorry but driving a car is not a right. If they want to keep driving they need to prove they do not represent any danger to the public. It's common sense really. :D

    bad drivers are bad drivers, my step brother failed the drivers test 3 times and got his license when he was 18, he got a 1997 dodge Dakota, got in an accident, then later he totaled the truck.(it was a pos anyway) then he bought an IMMACULATE 2006 ford mustang V8 with 18k miles on it for $20K with 20in rims. First he ruined one of the rims, took it off and ran on the spare wheel for about 2 months, so he got an alignment. Then he ran over a pothole which bent a rim and he tried to sue the city of Livermore for $100K:goingcrazy:.

    He got the wheel fixed and then he started driving up a hill, took a left turn and lost control of the car and ran into a pole in the center divide, which totaled the car.

    Now he has a dodge avenger and he is not even 20 yet.

    The thing that I thought was amazing was when he had the mustang his insurance payment cost more than his car payment:frusty:
