I will admit, I also have decked out my rig with some of the seemingly endless possibilities to totally make it mine. But I just can’t bring myself to do raptor lights, what are they?clearance, marker, warning lights? Do they actually have some purpose? Are they the last thing you do when you run out of all the other stuff you did? After all Tacomas are a mid size not a semi or Commercial truck.

Ford Raptors are so wide they are required to have them.

On Tacomas it just means you wish you had really purchased the Raptor to begin with but cannot admit it. :D

I spend a lot of time on TW.

Many ideas to upgrade my Sport are provided here.

It's an individual choice that comes with feedback when decisions are made and photos posted.

I didn't appreciate the honeycomb grill that came with my 2021...I decided to change it.

I bought Raptor Lights from a member here who decided not to install them.

They turned out to be "smoked ambers" and weren't as obviously noticeable during daylight.

Turns out, I like em and they enhance the handsome vintage grill on my Sport.

They are a bit overdone, but what isn't these days. So much for being unique. :)

I respectfully disagree. I purchased a Tacoma and really enjoy installing mods. The grill lights were just another mod that happened to look cool in my opinion. "Raptor lights" can be installed on any vehicle at this point. I've seen them in RAV4s, Subaru's, Ford Maverick, etc. Not just Raptor trucks. If you like the look go for it if not that's okay too.

You can tell they aren't real identification lights because real trucks always have three and Tacomas usually have four.

    It's an optical illusion.
You see, when someone is driving down the road they see what they believe to be a tacoma but as they get closer the Raptor lights come into view and the person gets distracted and says to themselves" Whoa, that guy is a real player if he can afford a Raptor like that, i want to have his baby"
