You shouldn’t. Rake is good for drivability, safety and looks.

Is this thing for real? This is like a zombie rescue mobile for a b-class movie with some hot blond with great cleavage.....

    I like it .

Of course it kinda reminds me of the rookie/probie ff truck. You know, the one who bolts WAYYYY to many gadgets/lights etccc... just to make first truck to pick the local drunk off the floor for the 4th time this month and runs with 5 pagers for 3 depts.....

You shouldn’t, if you don’t want to. lol

Some people just prefer the levelled look, instead of the forward rake. The truck’ll lean down in the front, so that when the back is loaded down, it’ll essentially level on its own, instead of dipping even more than a level vehicle would.

However, if you want to raise your vehicle slightly, to accommodate slightly larger tires, a levelling kit will also help you achieve that - without the need for costly shocks and/or leaf-springs.

If the current OEM rake doesn't bother you, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm a form follows function kinda guy. I lifted and kept the rake on purpose. I don't want my ass end in a squat every time I load up to go on a trip. I don't think too many people are looking at the truck and thinking "if only he'd of leveled it".

This is 2" up on all 4 corners.

Here's the truck with a decently heavy camp gear load. Ten gallons xtra gas, 5 gallons water, full 110qt cooler....lots of heavy stuff in the back. Little bit of squat, but not bad. And compression adjusters almost maxed out in the rear when with load keeps me mostly out of the bump-stops off road. Would have a serious case of bro-lean going on there if truck had been leveled.

When I lifted my truck, I kept the factory rake -- older, boxy trucks look good levelled, but (IMHO) the lines on newer trucks just look weird without a slightly higher rear. But totally a personal aesthetic thing.

First, thing is first. Are you picked last at kickball? Chew might have a point.

After that is established, it’s all preference. Mines straight stock and I’m content til it’s paid off.

The crazy thing with the Tacoma is when it’s level it looks nose up. It actually looks level with some rake in the back.

I wouldn't. You paid extra for the nice TRD OR suspension. It won't ride the same. Trust me...I've done it.

I see so many pictures of "leveled" rigs and so many of them don't look level at all. They look higher in the front. Looks silly to me. I don’t get it. :notsure:
