*The OFF ROAD TRD double cab only comes with the 5 ft. bed! No option if you want the double cab and the incredible traction systems only the Off Road has.

*All my parts/ and gear I carried in the first generation 6 ft. bed fits fine in the bigger second generation 5 ft. bed.

*Any longer and the truck would not fit in the garage (at my previous home).

Hands down the AC cabs are the best looking and most proportionate! Originally wanted a L/B but went with a S/B because it would barely fit in my garage. There hasn't been a time yet where the bed has been too small. I also have a 700 Yamaha Grizzly which made me nervous putting in either bed over 4 hours so I ended up trailering it anyway. I also have a cap and I have no regards about the S/B.

I do not need the bed for hauling or storage therefore, the dcsb is a much better option. I have some hauling space if needed but will rarely if ever use. Also, a dclb is too long to fit in the garage as the door could not close.

I chose a short bed because I primarily use my truck for offroading (more desert stuff than anything) and don't need the longer bed. The only shit I throw back there is the 35" spare, storage box, gas cans and a few other goodies. If I was worried about actually having a decent size bed and hauling shit around I would have gotten a full size truck vs. the long bed Tacoma.

...but you couldn't make your bed into a 7 ft like we could.

I never want kids but I still have a DCLB. The cab and bed space are both nice to have.

Because I wanted the TRD Offroad and I think that the DCSB looks better lifted personally.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Because DCSB's rock and it's nearly 2015, every truck has 4 doors now. Just get a DCLB if you are worried about coming up short with a DCSB, the extra 1' in length of the bed isn't going to be that much different.

There are more options with the DCSB too like TRD O/R and a 6 speed manual option where the DCLB is exclusively automatic and only has the TRD Sport option.

I bought a DCSB because the DCLB wasn't available with my desired configuration (I4). If I land myself in another Tacoma, it'll be DCLB without a doubt.

    DCSBFTMFWMF.

Until I can afford a DCLB! Then DCLBFTMFWMF :quickdraw:
