Its a wonderful resource with a wealth of information, that is, if you search for the information. Because most of the time, its out there.

I agree with everyone else how its very ridiculous when new members come on here and ask stupid questions that have already been asked thousands of times. Its idiots like this that make it harder to search when people actually use the search button.



What would yall think about having a newbie tech similar to ttora? There would be no flaming aloud in this section. It would be a place for newbs to come and ask stupid questions as to not clutter the rest of the board. Just a thought.

And even if we had a noob section.......they'd still post elsewhere. Just look at how much crap gets posted in 2nd gen.

Ya know, we have stickied so much great tech info in the respective forums. That is where people should look first. I always steer der Nuuben to those stickied threads with links...

I did so much freaking homework when I joined.

I think a lot of people just don't bother exploring the site structure and offerings before posting.

The point of having a great repository is to become familiar with it and use what is in it, not just expect other people to solve all your problems at your whim while you fap.
