Because this person is a drama queen. Stressed about efficiency? Are you fucking kidding me. How lily white and one dimensional your life much be if spending $11/week extra in gas loss is stressing you out.

Honestly I dont care what OP has to say after that statement. It's all bullshit noise.

Your complaints are common for the TurdGen. I wouldn't trade it yet. Hold onto it a couple more years, see what the market brings for other midsized competition.

Wow! Just Wow! If you think that Fords and Chevys are going to be such a better value than the Toyota then by all means go for it, just don't come back in three years saying "oh my gosh! the thing was a piece of crap and now it's only worth a third of what I paid". Buy what makes you happy and don't look back.

The title of the thread is "Why Toyota so boring now?" and you start it off by complaining about gas mileage?? Does anyone see the irony in that?

So you were scammed into buying a truck with a "wussy" engine that got poor gas mileage? All the specs are free to the world. Everyone who has owned a few cars knows gas mileage varies and depends on driving style.

Yeah, the engine could be better. I'll agree somewhat. The complaint here though should be, why don't we get the Toyota engines that Australia gets? But then again, it's a mid-sized pickup. It's not a fullsize.

"Ugly bargain" There's quite a few out there that aren't into ugly bargains. I also see you're not complaining about the FRS gas mileage here. The FRS is about handling, styling, and dependability. Most that buy aren't looking for a street-light warrior.

    Paris Hilton. That's who.

Meh. All underpowered *like the FRS right?*. And the Supra was a pig.

Good! Then you can sign up on one of their forums and complain about how it left you stranded. and.... "Those issues are gone now." riiiiiight.

Haha my buddy at work was just telling me how glad he was he got the extended warranty on his F-150 Ecoboost. 60,000 miles and he's already had throttle body replaced, rotors replaced, entire rear defrost system, and a couple other things.
