That would increase values in all 6MT's don't you think?

That's my point, just about all of us on the forum can upgrade a iPhone every time a new one comes out but not the same when it comes to Taco's

Bought my 16 about 4 years ago and still very satisfied with it. I'm probably good until the Gen 4 comes out and will see if it can entice my back in to the showroom.

I use the shit out of my cruise control.

So you must be that guy that when I’m cruising at a steady 72 that gets passed and repasses me 10 times in 30 minutes while I never change speed.

Probably. Just look at the used Ram prices with a Cummins and a 6 speed since they discontinued that option last year.

My first Tacoma was a 2wd long bed extended cab. Had my current 18’ DCSB for 40k miles now. The TSS has been fantastic for me thus far. Adaptive cruise control and auto headlights have been great features for all my road trips I’ve taken. And even when I use the truck for commuting. Wife loves it too on her SUV. Although my biggest reason I got a new Taco was I wanted 4wd after getting stuck multiple times on trips with the family, TSS was an awesome bonus. Will again trade in the Taco for another 3rd gen if they announce the 4th gen won’t have manual transmissions. Let’s hope that’s not the case!

I was getting sick of all the warranty repairs on my Nissan Titan, dreading the day the warranty expired. So I traded it for a 2019 Tacoma. I was able to get it for over $4K off sticker, important to me as I could afford it without a loan.

My wife has a 2019 RAV4, it has the Apple CarPlay, but I am glad mine does not. Apple Play uses a lot of data, especially for maps. My phone actually belongs to my employer, and other than emergencies I don’t use it for personal use, and would not connect it to the Apple Play system.

GoFastCamper (#41), ARB 2500 Awning with Full Room, Mobtown Off-road Sliders and Full Aluminum Skids.
I wouldn’t trade my DCSB 2017 in for anything (at this time). I intentionally bought a 2017, last year without TSS and the other doodads because mine is strictly a toy for me and is used a decent amount off-road. Didn’t want to deal with the truck doing too much thinking for me.

That said my wife has a 2019 RAV4 with an amazing array of sensors and safety features and she loves it and I love that it is super safe for her.

I will trade my truck in down the road for an F350 long bed to build a bigger adventure vehicle. But for now I’ll likely keep the 2017 Taco till the late 2020’s.

Probably because they didn't do their homework before buying the right model. Folks who bought a Sport, finally realized they should have gotten an Off Road for virtually the same price! :alien:

I'm right there with ya. My dad had a Dodge Colt back when I was a young kid, with vinyl seats. Good God they would burn you so bad in the summer.

First time i sat in a car with leather, I was like "why do people want this it's almost as bad as the vinyl..."

It's going to be interesting to see how the 2020 sales play out. The same truck for me now seems like it's gone up quite a bit in price.
