You got bad gas that's why. Just siphon it out and I'll swing by and take care of it. ;)

Check your non default settings. You’ll have to play with the selections. Puck the one that lets you set mileage on the fly.

Keep playing with it. You’ll find it.

I mean it sounds thought out to me if I remove my battery every time I fill up that’ll give me an extra 140 miles

And before the haters start. Don't even try to tell me my dash is wrong. Do the math!
Same pump both fill ups, 3 click method both times.

nice! I fully know my shit mpg is my fault cause I think my Tacoma’s a race car. But with premium fuel prices right now I don’t even move it.

all this talk of mileage reminds me of a story i heard a while back on jalopnik, i think..

a co-worker got a new chevy colorado, shows up to work the first day bragging about how the i4 is going to save him so much money on gas, and how everyone else in the shop needs to do what he did and get a more fuel efficient new vehicle like he did.

so instead of arguing with the him, the guy just lets it go. unbeknownst to the co-worker, the guy starts bringing a gas can to work, and every day, he refills the co-workers colorado with 5 gallons of gas.

this goes on for the next 6 months, the co-worker gets more bold and confident, "GM is literally PAYING ME to drive this truck!". finally the guy stops filling the co-workers truck around the time the winter blend fuel comes out.

his mpg of course 'tanks' without the 5 gallon subsidy, and starts spending more and more time in the shop for efficiency issues that no one can find.

after a year, he's no longer bragging about the truck and it's tiny motor anymore.

If it's really bothering you, go into the settings and change it into km. Not only will that boost your number* but you will no longer be bothered by understandable mileage units on the dash. :-D

    * same distance, just different units... unlike our CDN "mileaage", which uses L/100km (why???????) instead of something intelligent like km/L (which would at least make sense).

While we're calculating things.... I did some quick math on this. At $4/gal this prank cost $2600. That's a lot of money for such a lame prank. Ha.
