Why wont 2023 TRD OR spin donuts with traction control off?

Or just swap seats and have her stomp the pedal and see what she thinks. It's definitely more enjoyable from the driver's seat.

    You called?

The only time I’ve spun the tires when launching is in the dirt or when it’s wet. Otherwise it just chirps a bit and goes. Having a computer control the precise amount of power the motors make is good for handling and acceleration but not for goofing off and smoking tires unfortunately.

You need to get the primary layers of rubber off the tires. They are “drier” and don’t have the same grip,
new tires are just asking for it.

I won't lie. That's a little disappointing. Stupid safety features that don't allow a truck with 800 HP to do a burnout? WTF!

I was just about to say, OP could just buy some KO2s and go drive in the rain. It'll get squirrely just thinking about hitting the gas hard.

Just hold down the traction control button for until it says "traction control off" on the dash. Then have some fun out in the off road.

Trust me, close to 300 hp, this little truck will break the tires loose in the dirt.

Wow, 5 pages, mostly positive happy people who still know how to have fun and multiple answers to the question to boot!!!
Thank you everyone who explained how to properly turn off the traction control and VSC. I will be long pressing that button in the near future. But, there will be no video, at least not anytime soon. Right now Id rather be enjoying life than filming it.
Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't realize anyone had replied to this thread. I was expecting some sort of notification email or such.
And thank you to all the grumpy, miserable basement dwellers, with your hearts full of envy as you watch the brave enjoy life more fully than you ever will. Your snarky comments have allowed me to identify you for the ignore setting. Have fun... oh that's right you don't like to have fun, you prefer to sit at home and talk shit about people.
And thank you mods for the ignore feature!!! I hope it does what I think it does. Shit, do I need to long press it, or will a quick mouse click do?
