You already have a cold air intake...only thing you'll gain is braaap/noise...lots of discussion on the topic.

Nick had a volant he might sell you, if he hasn't sold it yet... not sure if it would fit your application

Yeah its gone. I'll have to agree, it was just a $200 noise maker that required constant filter oiling. But to each their own. It did make a pretty sound when you got on it.

Well I had one on my 04 Taco and then again on my FJ, but I could never really tell a huge difference. Think I'll save the 400 and skip it this time around. Thanks for the advice tho.

Pretty sure the Afe Stage 2 Si, the original TRD intake, and URD TCAI showed some gains on the dyno. Of course your not going to get huge gains, but there are gains to be had.

Thanks. Your truck looks really clean debadged, that is on my to-do list, though I'm thinking I will leave the Tacoma on the doors. I talked to a detail guy, B-Rad, on Washington about removing the bedside decals and everything on the tailgate.

    Thank you.

If you're wanting to debadge it, i'd say do it yourself...it is stupid easy to do. I can show you how...

I was told a hair dryer and a piece of fishing line for the badges. Not sure about the actual decal tho. That was my main concern.

My stickers and badges came off a year ago, it is a 2005...was butter. Your's should be super easy. I had a heat gun on stand by, yet it was not needed. For badges i used 50lb test monofiliment to cut through the adhesive. Then pushed and rolled the remaining adhesive off the surface best i could...then hit it wit this
    [IMG]
After that clay bar and wax...

As for the trd stickers on the bed sides, choose a corner and a fingernail and get to work...fingernails are soft, yet can still give small scratches, so be careful...peel sticker, goo gone, rinse, claybar, rubbing compound (if needed) wax, done...ymmv...again, i never used any heat other than the afternoon sun on dark paint.y

Fwiw, more heat makes all the adhesive more gloopy, gloppy, and sticky...

I used a toothpick with my debadging, you can scrape at the glue with it and it won't scratch the paint.

I bought my truck from Eddy's. Didn't really enjoy it but I almost always hate the whole car buying experience.

Bought my truck from eddys as well. Didn't like the experience. They will tell you this iis best deal they have when it's not so be prepared to walk away. I walked away 3 or 4 times until we finally agreed on something and yet they still had some tricks up their sleeves. My suggestion is when they offer you an interest rate ask for a lower rate or go get your own financing, that is if you have good credit. Tacomas sell so negotiating with the only toyota dealer in town can be tough.
