These just popped up on marketplace. Brand new from a couple years ago, used 1 year, kept in garage after that. $200 out the door,30 minutes from my house. The guys said he had to order them from VIP no one had them. Will these work with my 2013 TRD sport??? I’ve seen conflicting info about brakes not jiving with certain wheels. They are 16”. From my research they are 16x7 Toyota 16 hole wheels (seller did confirm they were on his tacoma).

If the seller had them on a 2nd or 3rd gen, they should work.
My truck has 16" wheels from the factory.

You could take a 1/2" breaker bar and a 21mm socket with you and "make sure"

I'd grab them. You can always switch them to your rims.

$200 sure beats $1100 for tires.

Check the date codes, tires age just sitting too

8 years is generally the accepted limit, so if they were a year old when he got them, used for a year, sat for 4, ya got 2 years left. Probably still worth it, but be informed

I should have clarified in the original post. I’m buying these for the wheels only. Tires are no good he told me. He just still has the tires on the wheels in pics.
My only concern is will these wheels work a 2nd gen sport? I can’t imagine they would make a 16” Toyota wheel that would work for base Tacomas but not TRD sport. I just did a 2” lift and prefer the look of 16” black wheels on the pyrite mica tacos, more rubber looks better to me.

Same bolt pattern. The offset would be the only issue.

If you are just after the wheels, I'd offer $100. There are not a lot of people looking for steel Tacoma wheels and I bet he knows it.

he’s gonna let me know maker tomorrow so I can check offset. He told me he bought them 2 years ago new for about $80 a piece. 4 basically new wheels for $200 bucks is hard to pass up.

Ok so I was able to find the wheel here
    https://tiredirect.ca/products/x42667

I’m still not sure on offset. It seems that 6-139 is bolt otter but what is 7 15/106? These did indeed come off a tacoma and were ordered for a tacoma so I’m assuming they should be alright. Any insight would help thank you

I found some 17x9 6x5.5 -12 Black steel wheels for $74.00, but a buddy of mine can get them for to me for $60.00 ea. Has anyone ran steel wheels on a Gen 3 Tacoma and has anyone had issues with them.

Grab them, That's one hell of a deal. I would recommend replacing the tires if they are 8 years old. I'm looking into getting a set for mine, just because the price is good.

then you have to pay for dismount, and maybe disposal
$150 max, but yeah, you are taking care of his disposal problem, so $100 is better

got a set of tacoma steels for free, originally the seller was asking $200, then the price drop to $100, and finally after messaging asking if the tires were good enough so I could use them as an extra spare, guy said if you can come now ill give you them.

I don’t anticipate these dropping lower than $200. I’d spend $400 buying these new right now. Usually disposal fee is “included” when you have new tires mounted and installed. But yea I see your point. I’m probably going to jump on it as is.
I believe these are 15mm offset. So this should be ok without any issues correct?

Just to update. These 16” rims did not work with the TRD sport. They went on but there was barely any stud coming through.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Gorilla long shank lug nuts should work, I would think. IMG_8339.jpg

Yea maybe that’s all I needed. Oh well. I’ll just stick with the stock sports for now.

    Just get new, longer studs?

Studs are always way cheaper than the lug nuts.
