if any of you got this muffler put on your 4 banger, could you please post a video?

 

I just got mine on yesterday and I do the same thing. I just find excuses to drive random places just to hear it .

 

you should post a sound clip of it, i'd like to hear one of these on a 1st gen

It's not as loud as I was expecting but I did get the 18" body and I mostly hear my CAI in the cab when I accelerate. But it's noticeable! I think it's also because the guy before me at the muffler shop had some loud ass duals put in on his Pontiac and it made the wickedflow sound like a kitten by comparison! Lol

 

yea, i got the 13'' an its quiet in the cab. I like that, but i know its their when i hammer down. I got good reviews from a few people that live by me that have been hearing me zip by lol

 

which is the deepest/loudest

Few questions guys. Haven't installed mine yet.

Is it best to mount it vertically or horizontally? I'm thinking horizontally for ground clearance.

Also, I'm thinking of just dumping it so should I have it welded on and then just not add anything to the exit? Or is that bad? Will fumes come in the cab? Do I just add a small piece that faces down?

so just weld it whatever way. I did mine horizontal.

I dumped mine, what you want to do is add whatever size pipe that matches your outlet you have, make it about a foot with a bend towards the ground. Make sure it is towards the front of your axle and not pointing at your axle.

 

If not pointing to it then what do you mean towards?

I really can't just leave the outlet as is?

 

page 20, post 381. Make it look like that but with new piping pointed more towards the ground.
