Well all you are doing is cutting out the TRD muffler then and putting in this one. So essentially you paid the TRD premium for some nice new exhaust pipe is all. Worth it? Probably not. Sell the TRD to someone who wants it, put the stock back on, and weld in this new muffler. Youll be better off. (financially anyway)

Thats what i've got. Its a 2.5 in/out. I might just sell the TRD and have my buddy at a local shop just hook it up and bend some pipes for me to make a new one.

Yes, I do believe that the stock pipe is 2.25. If you take it to a exhaust place they'll be able to fit it no problem, it just might cost you a little bit more is all.

yeeaaaa, I must admit I'm in a bit of denial. The TRD is certainly, certainly a step up from the stock exhaust, but not as much as I had hoped. I WAS going to go for a flowmaster dual 40 series when I bought my new truck, but I also went for a S/C. I didn't wanna risk warranty problems if a future S/C issue was blamed on a non-TRD/Toyota exhaust. Guess I'm stuck w/ TRD...or risk it...

Risk it dude. I cant think of anything that'd go wrong with it just caust of a different muffler. If anything does just throw on your stock exhaust if you still have it.

so on with the sport package i still have the stock muffler right?
and any estimation on what it should take for a place to weld the 2.5 on to the 2.25? i really like the sound of this and have been looking to up the sound without a total make over of the exhaust

Yes you have the stock 2.25 exhaust. Not much, just a pipe extension thats 2.25 on one side and then 2.50 on the other. Your local muffler shop would be able to do this very easily. You should definately get it my man.

    Alright you're good.

It seems like everyone is going to the 13" and not the 18"...if I were to get one I would probably want the 18"

Well when I talked to the guy he said that if we were to get enough buyers then it wouldn't matter if it was the 13 or 18 or what size it was. So if you want I could put your name down for the 18.

which piping size would you recommend for the stock exhaust? 2.25" or 2.5"?

If you dont mind paying a little extra to get it put on then i'd go with the 2.5 but thats just me.

depends on the shop! some could charge you $20, others could charge you $50. Wont be much tho and is worth it if your un-able to weld.
