Widest tire option stock suspension

less than 1000 miles on the new truck but looking for a little more meat to hang out of the fenders. how wide can i go on stock OR suspension without too much rubbing or cutting? SOme is acceptable. I would like to get to 285 but heard that would rub a lot on the stock setup... input?

I know people like that too and it drives me insane. It'd be much more efficient and informative to do a quick search.

 

Get some wheel spacers. Spidertrax 1.25"...$99 new for a set of 2 but you can get them on here used for cheap. That's how I got mine. Stance is great and it pokes the tread out just past the fenders. It will allow for bigger tire too but no matter what you do unless you lift you are going to get some rub, especially if you get to 285. You can trim the inside of your fender or take off any flaps and it will stop and no one will ever notice the trimming.

 

There are some before and after a of mine with 265/70R17. I've since put a 3" lift and AAL but still on the same shoes at the moment.
