    I had my oil changed last week and they took drivers floor mat out and put it in the back. I guess it was a safety hazard because it wasn't fastened down like a factory mat.

    Yup, it's a big deal for them.

    I've been in two cars with pedals stuck to the floor due to floor mats jammed. One V6 camry, one Lexus LS430. Both had 3+ floor mats.

    Toyota was cleared but they take it very seriously that OEM secured mats or they must be removed.

    Theres a TSB for this to modify the gas pedal by cutting it.
