    Hi OP, take it back to where you bought the tires and hopefully they will prorate towards the cost of a replacement. I 100% would replace that.

    This if possible although it's not a road hazard, it's driver error so they may say no. She hit hard enough to damage the wheel as well, I wouldn't trust the damaged sidewall. Replace it and go on with life.

    Update.

    I just picked up the new tire today. I didn't mention in my original post because I didn't think of it, the car is an AWD.

    I measured the difference with a tread depth gauge and it is about 1.5/32 difference between the new one and older ones. Would this be okay to replace the 1 tire with it being AWD? How much is considered too much of a difference?

    You should be totally fine. 3/32 is usually the limit.
