Well she at times swears it was our fault for leaving shit on the floor. Until I calmly point out, honey all you had to do was look forward. What are you gonna, I have done stupid shit too. I will soon have a lightly used trifecta for sale. It will cover the bed, but it will be far from water tight.

Now on a second note, when I get the undercover I will no longer need the pop and lock. Is there a market for lightly used ones.

She may have many other qualities and "talents" :D
I have an OEM bed mat...and still would throw the tarp in to haul dirt/gravel/concrete.

For one, it makes clean-up a breeze. And why not protect your truck?
    Use or abuse?

Part of being married. Take the good with the bad. I am sure we all have had our " D'Oh " moment. You may check out a cover like a Bakflip that you can leave on for hauling. Just folds all the way up against the back glass to have access to the whole bed.

It did and it does. I bought a couple truck loads of red mulch in the spring. Who knows how many washes later, I still find the odd misplaced piece of mulch here and there. I don't want that to happen with cement.

I'd recommend hanging on to the pop n lock. It still adds an additional layer of tailgate security, especially on those occasions when you'll be hauling things with the tonneau off.

How will the lock keep someone from lifting items out of the bed?

By tailgate security I meant that it will help dissuade people from taking the tailgate when the cover is off. Items in the bed fall under the category of bed security ;)

Check out the Armor Lid. It's made just like the undercover but it's cheaper. A quick search shows it for $599 and the Undercover for $740. It was on my Taco when I got it and I really like it. It's strong enough to stand on, and comes off easily.

Go with the undercover! You won't regret it. Plus if you have a load, like you have in your pics, the cover can just rest on top of it and you won't even have to take it off. I had one and I loved it!
