WiFi Hotspot tacoma 2020 question

little bit of here and a little bit of that...

Hello y’all! So my question is, could I connect to, Toyota Tacoma 2020 WiFi hot spot, when the vehicle is off and not running?

I have purchased and installed dr900s blackvue dash cams. And for me to view it remotely, it would have to be connected to a WiFi. And my vehicle has the option to do wi if hotspot, but before I sign for hotspot service, i would like to know if it connects to Toyota hotspot even if the vehicle is off or not running. It is almost useless for me not to be able too view the cameras remotely. Any answers from my Toyota fam in here?
