    Hard to tell. In some of their product picks it hugs the back of SUV tailgates pretty well. Not sure on pickups. But I don't own one either.

    not the hitch gate but the whole tail gate is on the list. but its like 800 freaking dollars. 500 feels right 800.00 a little steep.

    I've been eyeing the vertical tire gate for a while. Might throw in for a decent price. Agree with ColoradoTaco on the $500.

    How many of these are out there in the world? I've posted several here and on IH8mud looking feedback on quality, durability, function from someone who has used one on the trail but never get a response. Has anyone seen an objective review of the product?

    We've been selling them since 2006...so it's probably somewhere over 10,000 of them. Sold one to a guy returning from Afghanistan 2 months back...he said his unit's vehicle had a Hitchgate on it...and that at the end of his tour, the only thing still working on the vehicle, was the Hitchgate...so he wanted one.

    The internet is littered with commentary and reviews on it dating back prior to 2008. Still selling about 30 a month without advertising it really.
