i dont know if anyone has seen this before, but my wife turned me onto this site. it lists destinations for all sorts of outdoor activities:

for off roading, select either "four-wheel driving" or "off-highway vehicles" from the activity drop down. but you can also search for things like camping, mountainbiking, and hunting.
