That is a pretty cool thing to haul. My truck sees a carbon Devinci Spartan in the summer.

I usually carry mine on my back while the truck rests in a secluded spot

My wildly unpopular opinion...my truck looks better than yours. It looks better with the stock wheels (not black), no lift, and the great looking chrome cheese grater grill. While I'm at it the double cab long bed looks better than the look of the hacked off short bed.

Or if you have young kids, which the original poster clearly does not....

Glad a full grown man can jump into his truck without steps though. Kudos to him

It’s also about peace of mind. Many of us go camping or off roading in areas without cell signals etc. Having extra tools in the kit, such as a locking diff, creates another level of protection. That’s why I also carry a jumper battery, arb tire kit, etc. most times I don’t need them.. but im glad I have them when I do.

Diamondback covers.....keep everything locked inside, can easily hold the weight of payload on top.

I actually like the infotainment/ stereo. Granted, Im coming from an 07 Chevy Colorado work truck. I dont see why it is seen as so bad.

I haul stuff in my bed all the time that is why I got a truck. The less expensive roll up tonneau covers give full bed access but keep things mostly dry and covered when needed. In particular I found the truxedo truxport worked the best for maximum bed use and was relatively inexpensive.

I like my truck, nothing has broken yet. I hate the TSS, it doesn’t like low sunlight, snow covered roads, or a little dirt on the logo. It’s been to the dealership twice, “ functions as designed “. To much technology.

With the usesless steps I have an excuse to get a lift-kit.

Step=too high split my head open on roof.
No step=split crotch in jeans climbing in.

    Woahh is us

I bought steps specifically to block car doors from hitting my truck.

For the automatic transmission owners, if you dont like it shifting between 5th and 6th, take away 6th with S mode.

"I dont like how cruise control works". Dont use it.

Drum brakes / disc brakes.... if you need rear disc brakes then buy a truck with rear disc brakes, plenty to choose from.

OV tune will not fix everything.

To those that have deleted all of the interior chrome, take a look under the seat headrests. Oops, missed a spot.

I did the most unpopular mod of all, I added the ugly chin spoiler to my OR. Yep, I did and it’s because my truck sees 99% paved roads. The only use of 4WD is snow trips and fire roads to go dirt bike riding.

The 3.5 is a better engine than the 4.0 other than the availability of a supercharger.

The 3rd gen is better than the 2nd gen

'18+ speed adapting cruise control is awesome technology, the other nanny stuff is fine and never gets used.

    Unpopular opinion?
I actually really like the engine. I understand what it was designed for.
Then again, I don’t have massive tires or thousands of pounds of camping gear constantly attarched to my bed. 90 percent of the time, I’m hauling my sub 14 pound carbon fiber road bike.

I like my Qi charger and use it daily, works well with my android phone.

I dont need a winch or light bar.
