Wondering if anyone can confirm yes or no? My original plan was shallow mounts in the Super Crew Sound box but now looking at the specs I'm wondering if the SWR-10D2 will fit? The air space is in the recommended range, the 5-7/8" mounting depth would work with the optional 6" mounting depth of the box... barely. But, on the Super Crew site it says "mounting depth based on 6" diameter magnet." Which, if I'm looking at the diagram for the sub correctly the magnet is 6-7/8." Can this work?

Highly doubt it will work right. Even if it fits there may not be enough space. The shallow mount type r is a good sub. I got the 12 and am happy with it. I HIGHLY suggest a ported box vs. sealed. Alpine likes ported boxes.
