will 17" rims fit on stock tacoma?

    I gotta buddy who has a set of 17" wheels off a newer tacoma. if i put these on my stock 00 tacoma whats the biggest size tire i can run with no lift?

    Those +05 Tacoma sport rims tuck in further that the stock rims on a 1st gen. This may cause a rubbing issue on the UCAs if wide tires are mounted.

    Without knowing a lot more about your truck it is very difficult to say what is the biggest tire you can mount without problems.

    THEY DID RUB ON MY 1999 4RUNNER.HAD TO RUN A 1' WHEEL SPACER TO CLEAR THE UCA.....
