I tried searching but I don't know what this style of wheel is called. I have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 with the 31x10.5x15 tires on these 15" rims:

I found a set of these 17" rims with the factory tires from a 2010 Tacoma:

I was wondering if you could tell me these wheels and tires from the 2010 Tacoma will fit directly on to my 1998 Tacoma without any modifications, and could anyone who has done this post a picture so I could see what they will look like. THANKS!

They should fit but they have a bigger offset so they will be set in more and be very close to the upper control arm.
If you stay with the stock size tires you should be O.K. if you go wider you will rub and need to move it out to clear.

so to clear a arm you want a bigger offset like 2"-4" for the 1st gens right?

My truck has 31x10.5x15 tires on it but I believe the 2010 Tacoma rims come with 265/70/17 which is about 1" bigger than mine, do you think this is okay? Will it clear everything

I would reccomend not getting them unless you want to run a bigger tire size, than 255, currently i have them with 245's, i have them right now and they came with the truck. The biggest tire size you can run is a 32x10'' which is a 255/75/17 , and actually im going to stick with the rims and buy a set of Hankook Dyna Pro At's within 2 weeks in the 255/75/17 size. A 265 size will rub on the UCA. Other than that they do fit .

I am running those same wheels on my truck with 265/70/17 cooper st tires. Unless you go smaller than that they will rub (and obviously anything bigger will rub). The reason is that the second gen wheels have a 5" offset where as the wheels you have now have a 4.5" offset, which means that the new wheels will "suck in" a half inch. I went and bought a set of spidertrax 1 1/4" spacers. Now since the difference in offset between the two wheels and with the spacers my rim stick out 3/4"
