Will 2024 Tacoma have a quiet cabin?

From what I'm reading and its not much it appears the 2024 Tacoma could be a lot quieter then previous models. Toyota is known for quiet cars but the Tacoma has a long history of having loud cabin noise. Hoping the 2024 model will see increased sound proofing insulation along with sound resistant glass to improve driving pleasure. Of course after looking at some of the "big" tires the 2024 Tacoma might be issued, I do have serious reservations about tire noise penetrating cabin area, thus causing serious sound issues.

Yea I know its a truck, but most drivers want a nice quiet ride versus 75 to 85 plus decibels on or off freeway.

It will! Heard it will also come standard with a nonbinary masseuse that will give you warm yogurt rub downs.

If it's too quiet just put a light bar on the roof. That'll help

I highly doubt it becomes part of their focus, as their base isn’t looking for a luxury cruiser.

I want them to bring back the "time to upshift" sound instead of a tach

Any more info on this topic? This would actually be a big factor in my decision to upgrade.

To whoever said the gen 3 is quiet, time to clean your ears out.
I swear my ‘21 has way more cabin noise than my previous gen 2’s.

I hope the new trucks are quieter but not expecting so.

Cabin noise is also function of ambient weather condition, tire design and road surface condition.

All of those being equal I have never noticed the 3rd gen to be any louder than any other comparable truck I’ve been in.

I swear the level of OCD and analysis of the most minuscule things on TW is unmatched and I love it lol.

we should get one of those $20,000 B&K sound meters and capture the entire acoustic signature of how dangerously loud the 3rd gen is.

And some on TW wonder why: "Toyota doesn't listen to us"
Just read the shit around here, any rational person in power to make changes at big T would put this site on their blacklist.

It’s really easy to tell who has never driven old trucks and off road vehicles by their complaints.

People fantasize about 70 series land cruisers, hilux, old school Land Rover defenders etc.

they wouldn’t last one day in one of those

Having all the gens, 3rd gen significantly quieter than any of my 2nd gens. The 4th gen does have active noise cancellation apparently which Toyota has been incorporating into even the Corolla. We shall see if its significantly quieter.

This is the first I’ve heard of active noise reduction in the 4g. Any link to discussion of this feature?
