As title says, will 275/70r17 Wildpeaks fit on 1.5” lift? I’m running 6112s on clip #s 6/5 for the full 2” lift but I’d like to drop the front by one clip to 1.5” lift for a little more rake.

Only concern is if I drop a clip the tires will rub.

    TIA for any feedback

probably fit just fine. I run a 275/70 on a 4runner limited with stock suspension. rubs a little bit

I have 275/70/17 and have bilstein 5100 set at the 4th line, so about 1.5 of lift and have no rubbing. BUT I have no mud flaps and the front bumper is trimmed a bit in the bottom corners. Also I have kumho A/T, the wild peaks run a bit bigger because they’re more aggressive, but you should be fine. My tires are closer to the shock spring than any plastic so watch out for that

I run 275/70r17 Wildpeaks on mine. I have the TRD lift so it’s about 1.5” ish. Like the post above states though, lift is only a piece of the puzzle with rubbing with tire size. There’s a million forums on here diving into it. I’ve had zero issue on rubbing paired with the 4Runner Pro wheels. I have no mudflaps though, but I haven’t trimmed at all.

What would it be like at full lock crawling? Idk, if I get there I’ll let you know lol. For my purposes (ie mostly forest roads at worst) I have had no issues and love the tire size. I pull about 16 mpg give or take and I’m mostly city driving on my commute.

Agree...similar issues with the discussion of wheel offset measurements on this forum.

They will. Ya will have to trim a bit of plastic inside to the fender, Ya can't even see it. You still get a tiny bit of rubbing now and again.

Keep in mind those k02's run small compared to other brands. I compared a 275/70r17 k02 to bolth a 265/70 and 275/70r17 dura trac back in the day when I first popped on AT's.
Note all comparisons were done mounted, inflated but without vehicle weight on them. And the difference between the 275 k02 and 265 duratrac was nearly non existent. Where as stock alignment and suspension the 275 duratrac would not fit where as the 275 k02 you could of done.

So this is where use of the truck comes into play. Technically the lift will help clear at ride height but the second you cycle the suspension the lift means nothing. I have come to the conclusion that most shops that lift trucks truly have no idea what they are doing.
Just watched a co worker go through this a while ago with his ram. The shop told him that to go to a 33 he had to do a level kit. When I compared his metric size to the 33 it was the same size just a touch wider.

The inch or so of height will not help because the rub comes from the inside corner of the fender well hitting the tire about 2 inches below the half way point of the tire. If that makes sense, it only slightly hits the "perfect spot" at the exact angle and turn and speed. Really with the size of tire we are are talking it is no worries. I guess the tire is actually hitting the inside corner of the fender well. Anyways, Good Luck in your 4x4 adventures.
