New to the forum guys and I did some searches and cant seem to find the answer I need. I have a 09 2wd Tacoma prerunner on a 4x4 chassis ... If I get 275/75/16 will they rub if the truck is mostly on the street as a work truck hauling a trailer sometimes... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That is what I run on my stock, with 4 leaf rear spring, 08 DC 4x4 Off Road Tow Tacoma. They say they do not rub and so far in 15K miles mine have been just fine. :)

The short answer: it depends on which make & model of tires and wheels you are running.

For example, I have 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs on stock wheels and they rubbed before I trimmed plastic.

I stand corrected, mine are 265/75/16. I think the next size wider was 285's. :)
