I spoke to some guys at DT and they said it won't be an issue putting a 285 on a 7" wheel. They said its become alot more common :)

Well, the intel was right. My 285/75/16 Definity Dakota M/T fit like a glove!

The tire shop people told my there was no way it'd fit, and we were just wasing time.

It fit PERFECTLY. No rub at full wheel lock, not even the front mudflaps. They'res no rub ANYWHERE.

However, I'll have to take it to the tire shop again because my tpms light is on, so I'm thinkin they jacked up one of the sensors. Ill worry about that monday.

Here she is w/ the new shoes

Double check that your tire pressure are all close to each other and try resetting the TPMS. It's possible they didn't do that.

I get some rub with mine when I'm at full lock and I back up.

Thanks, I'll try that today before I go to the shop. Hopefully that will solve it!
