Will 33's fit my stock prerunner?

The guy at discount told me that the BF AT's come in a 33x10.5 and that they'll fit my truck no problem. I didn't believe him so I bought 31x10.5, but he says I can bring them back within a month If I change my mind. So I'm calling on the expertise of Tacoma world to help me answer this, and if they do fit, will I see a big difference in off-road capability and fuel economy?

 

a big fucking hammer to the pinch weld will make them fit (with a 2.5" lift those same tires fit ok on my truck)

will you see a difference in off road capabilities? No, you have a pre runner, you are screwed from the start.

Will you see a difference in fuel economy? Yes. It will get worse, as will how your truck accelerates.
