Hey everyone, my trade for a deisel has fallen through and I and the gf have decided to keep my truck and trade her pathfinder for a bigger truck in the near future. Ive putting this off because of the good chance of trading the vehicle but now that I know what Im gonna do I have a question about suspension.

Im currently running two inch lift that was put on the truck prior to purchase. It pretty much is spacers that sit on the coil and force the truck to sit higher. I want the truck taller but I dont want to lift the truck. My current shocks are completely shot anyway and I would love to have a good ride again.

I have done some research and am still confused. Will 5100's get my truck taller than the inch or two inch spacer in the coil lift? I preferably want the truck as tall as the stock setup will allow. Im sorry for being so stupid sounding about all this haha Im RUNNING AWAY from body lifts, thats not an option for me. I really appreciate the help.

highest you can go with a stock set up is 3 inch, bilstiens can only be set at 2.5 but you can add a 1/2 spacer much like the ome, but if you have some dough then go with some coilvers

This is a really old picture but it shows the height of the truck pretty well. Do you think I can get higher than that without an accual lift kit?

Take the spacer lift off and set the Bilstein's to 2.5" and if you want, you can add a top plate spacer to that as well. Rule of thump...3" is max on a suspension lift to keep the CV's safe.

Ok that sounds perfect. What is the best top plat spacer to get? And are the 5100's still on backorder?

Check with DownSouth Motorsports for the Bilsteins and ToyTec Lifts for the top plate spacer.

Ok so my friend has this lift on his truck and swears by it. Im planning on getting this in the morning if yall could get some input on it. Will the 5100's work with this? I want this and then get the 5100's for the ride quality. His truck is pretty damn tall with this kit and 33's and its exactly what Im looking for. Should I get it?

Edit- If you think the one mentioned above will get me to the same height with a better ride I will do that. I feel like the lift plus billies would be a waste as I could just get billies and the top plate spacer for the same height? Idk Im confused lol

Can you elaborate on wanting the truck taller but not lift it?

That will not be a nicer ride than the Billies.
