Well...... now we know, it will work BUT....... there is no way top make the temp work. The compass works, the dimming works, but the wiring harness is different, there is no temp sensor, nor is there a wire for it! I'm now the proud owner of probably the only 2014 that has a compass in the mirror but I still have to rely on the APP in the Entune radio.

I feel sorry for the guy who buys my '13 at the auction and finds out that it has a '14 mirror with no backup cam, no temp, and no compass.

Apparently it plugs in but parts of the harness from 2013 is non existent in the 2014. I wish I could have seen it first hand but I can ask the tech. IMO, swapping it and just getting the compass is not worth doing. I would opt for the aftermarket one that looks like an OEM for about $300.

As far as being destroyed.... the Impartial services group put a big 8x12 sign in the windshield that says "vehicle not to be driven, will be taken to the auction". My Service Manager confirmed that it will be auctioned as it sits and most likely will still have the remaining warranty.

I doubt it very much. That truck is 100% trouble for Toyota..... and will be for the next owner. Still a valid warranty?... Nope.
