I like the looks of the 09 factory 6cd radio and was wondering if it would work in my 06 Tacoma? Some say it will and some say it might and some say it wont. Any help from the community would be helpful. Thanks and be safe!

Ummm, not to revive a dead thread or anything, but yes it will work. I have a 06 non-jbl that I put an 09 non jbl in. Direct plug and play, everything works.

No, I actually found this while googling what other year of stock radios would work plug and play. Since it wasn't answered yet I answered it. Now if somebody finds this thread the same way I did with google, it will have an answer.

It can now die again and grow old.
