It's possible that I could get my hands on a new 2012 Entune/Navigation double din stereo that came out of a 2012 Limited 4runner. If so, Im really interested in installing it into my truck. Anyone know is this is possible?

They say anything is possible (if funds are plentiful), but I would not attempt this. I asked a rep from Toyota's tech dept when I met him in person and says he would not recommend it unless you don't want half the features work (i.e bluetooth, etc). I was thinking the same thing.

Wouldn't be worth the money and hassle even if it is possible when you can get something aftermarket with better features for less.

Get it for free, sell it and then get yourself an aftermarket touch screen. With that being said, I can't believe you are that lucky to get it for free. Leave business cards with your nearest Toyota dealership and tell the salesman if he/she can send someone your way that you'll give him like $200.

I think it would be more practical to get a used 4runner and install the deck in there.

    This^

I checked out the entune when I bought my tacoma cuz I was interested in it. Once I found out it was a $1900 option, I laughed. It's cool and all, but any decent aftermarket one will trump it for half the cost.

    I would just sell it.

You should ask if its a plug and play for a 4Runner that doesn't have one. If it is, maybe I'll buy it from you for when I buy a new 4Runner.
