So I’ve contacted Toyota directly, K&N and a part department and no one can tell me if a 2017 intake will fit the new 2018s. A few people claim 2016-2018 for their part numbers but before I order I just wanted to see if anyone has installed an aftermarket intake on their 2018 Tacoma (TRD off-road 4x4 3.5L)

Pretty certain they didn't change anything in the engine bay, but if you want to post a picture I can scope it out for you. Are you dead set on the K&N one? AFE makes a better one in my opinion and they're the subcontractor for TRD intake parts.

Not set on K&N that’s just what I had on my last Tacoma. Definitely going to look into the AFE. Thank you. When I have a free minute I’ll take a picture of the engine bay and post it.

Sounds like a plan. Unless they did something drastic in the new model year that I'm not aware of, you should be good. Don't listen to the CAI haters here either.
