    Guys!

My windshield is leaking due one rust spot in the top edge. Im intending to fix it, but if we broke the glass when removing it, i will not be able to find another of a Tacoma (toyota never sold Tacomas in my country), but i have how to get 4runners windshields. Are they the same?

    tks.

Looks as though (atleast for a 1999) that the glass is different. Your best bet would be to import one. Not sure on your location so I cannot point you in a good direction.

    Good luck.

We don't have Tacoma in Poland either (only me) but I was able to find a company who is able to import any glass in the world. Now the cool thing is that they buy the glass for wholesale prices, which are about 80% off what you normally pay at the glass shop i USA, so actually I can get OEM glass installed for less than half of the US price. Look if in your country there is a company specializing in automotive glass, they might get it relatively cheep.

BTW there is a Pilkington branch i Poland, but they told me: "If it is not a Polish car, we don't have it". They did not want to get it from other Pilkington company which actually makes OEM and aftermarket glass for Tacoma. Go figure.

Thanks guys. I will try the biggest auto glass replacement companys, checking if they can import it. 4runners windshields are pretty cheap, and probably to import it, i will pay at least 3 times the retail price, just in taxes and shipping.
