Will a leveling kit void the warranty?

    does anyone now if you add a leveling kit to your Tacoma does it void any type of warranty?

    If the dealer installs it.... no. If not then they will blame it on that. I cant think of the name, but they have to prove your parts caused the problem. First goes to arbitration and dealer us required to pay the first 5000 buck for that process. Usually cheaper for them to fix than go that route.

    It’s original intention was for aftermarket replacement parts. Not added accessories. However it pretty much gets covered under this act. Basically anything that you add, can not void your warranty, as long as it didn’t cause damage, or failure to a said component.

    So for instance; you add your leveling kit, and they deemed that the added height cause your shocks to bottom out and blow the seals. The shocks now wouldn’t be cover under a warranty repair.

    But let’s say you added the leveling kit and your radio stopped working 2 months later. That couldn’t cause that issue so they couldn’t say we won’t cover the radio.
