I did a thread the other day about replacing my leaf springs due to axle wrap. And also PM a fellow TW member about it and he suggested replacing my leaf springs as well. Well my question to you all is....If I were to get a lift kit that came with an AAL, would that be enough to fix my axle wrap issue? I have a 2006 Access Cab TRD 4x4. Right now all that's done to the suspension is a front spacer which I would get rid of if I were to get a lift kit and replace it with whatever the kit came with. I want the truck to have the leveled look so I don't want any rake at all unless it was very little. Any suggestions for this issue would be appreciated.

I'm no expert but I would say no. It may make it a little better but I wouldn't think it would completely stop it. The stock springs are very weak. I have a replacement set of OME 8 leaf springs waiting to go on for this reason.

That's pretty much what I'm thinking too. But I also don't want to get new springs that are going to lift the rear up alot. I found these earlier http://www.northwestoffroad.com/parts/2stage.php ,the high quality rear replacement springs(Item #N73560), and they say they will only lift the rear about 3/4in more. I can live with that.
