I know you may call me stupid if both cabs are 6ft but I remember reading that an access cab truck cap is a little bit longer than a single cab. I just want someone to confirm whether that’s true or not. I have a single cab and someone is selling an access cab truck cap and I want to make sure there’s no issues. Thank you

I believe the regular cab has a square profile vs the access cab having a curved profile to the back of the cab itself. The caps are different; it should still fit, however the lines won’t match perfectly.

Regular cab cap will fit on access cab but access cab won't fit well on regular cab. The sloping front that matches the slope of the access cab may slowly wear into your paint on the straight upright cab of the regular cab.

Just got this one - it's a work in progress.....
I can actually vouch for this. I had a Leer on my 2nd gen access cab. Sold it to someone who had a reg cap. It fit, but the cap ended up touching the cab of the truck - very tight fit up where the cap meets the cab. It was an older truck so they didn't care as long as it fit.
