Will an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 from a 2nd Gen fit a 3rd Gen?

    I have a 2017 Tacoma with the short bed. I have the opportunity to get an Extang Solid fold 2.0 coming off of a 2nd Gen Tacoma. I have been attempting to research this but don't seem to be making much progress... I am also aware that they list the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen covers as different model numbers on the Extang website. Has anyone done this or is it even possible?

    Thanks for any advice or insight!
