So I just got some ko2’s put on my tacoma.

So far I have no been impressed with their performance, i dont trust my cornering at speed limits, and breaking distance.

Its still the early stages so maybe im just expecting too much from them.

Driving in Canada with moderate frost, wet roads, snow, and ice, aswell as dry.

So im wondering will these tires be great at getting out of ditches but the reason I end up in one?

I know these tires are well respected and thats why I bought them. Its possible im expecting too much from them.

They are the best looking tire out there IMO, but all the people I know who have had them didn't get them again due to some level of unacceptable performance for them.

Suck in the snow, I'm switching over to Cooper ST MAXX again. Kills them in performance in all situations.

I used them for a couple winters, did fine as long as you take it easy.
I'm on my second set of KO2s heading for 112,000 miles/180K kms and had zero problems with them.
I do run a true winter tire - the DMV2 once the snow hits. With our light back ends on these trucks and you having 5 months of winter you might want winter tires.

im confident in driving in winter i used stock dunlops for 5 years. So if its performance isnt great ill survive, but thats not the point im looking for something superior year round to the dunlops.

edit: they look awesome but yeah if they are dangerous I may have to go with a different year round option.
